Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion framework

Kirgo provides self-exclusion and cooling-off tools to support responsible gambling. This framework applies to all Kirgo products and services accessed through your account and governs how you may restrict or terminate gambling activity with Kirgo.

Self-exclusion options and periods

You may request an extended self-exclusion for a fixed period between six months and five years. If you do not specify a period, the exclusion defaults to six months. For residents of the United Kingdom, the minimum self-exclusion period is six months and reactivation requires a written request to Customer Support. For residents outside the United Kingdom, the specified period applies and the account reactivates automatically at the end of that period.

Activation and effects of self-exclusion

  • You initiate self-exclusion by logging in and navigating to the Self-Exclusion page. Activation blocks access to your Kirgo account for the chosen period and applies to all Kirgo products.
  • During the exclusion period you may not open a new Kirgo account. If you already hold an account, it will be inaccessible for the duration of the exclusion.
  • Past promotions or prizes: you forfeit entry into any competition or draw entered prior to exclusion and may forfeit non-cash prizes or invitations granted prior to exclusion that have not been redeemed or utilised.

Reactivation and premature end of a self-exclusion

Reactivation of the account follows the period end in non-UK residents. For UK residents, reactivation requires a written request and approval by Kirgo Customer Support. Kirgo may reopen an account prior to the end of the period only if you submit a written request and Kirgo, in its sole discretion, approves the early reopening.

Cooling-off option

You may opt for a cooling-off period as an alternative to full self-exclusion. Available cooling-off durations are 24 hours, 1 week, 3 weeks, or 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, access to your Kirgo account is paused temporarily and the account will automatically reactivate at the end of the chosen period unless a separate self-exclusion is in place.

Additional protective measures

  • Kirgo reserves the right to close an account if gambling activities are deemed likely to cause financial or personal difficulties. You must not open a new Kirgo account following such closure.
  • If you indicate gambling-related issues, staff will act responsibly as part of Kirgo’s obligations under its Responsible Gambling and KYC/AML policies.

Data, privacy and compliance

Processing of self-exclusion requests complies with Kirgo’s privacy and data protection obligations. Identity verification and related checks may be performed in accordance with Kirgo’s KYC/AML Policy prior to processing self-exclusion requests.

How to request self-exclusion or a cooling-off period

To initiate self-exclusion, log in to your Kirgo account and navigate to the Self-Exclusion page, select the desired period or cooling-off duration, and submit your request. If you are not specifying a period, Kirgo will apply the default six-month self-exclusion. For UK residents, a six-month minimum applies, and reactivation requires contacting Customer Support. Your request will be processed promptly and you will receive confirmation of the action taken.
